Common Mode Power Control of Three-Phase Inverter for Auxiliary Load without Access to Neutral Point

The purpose of this article is to investigate the potential obtaining an auxiliary dc output from common-mode switching harmonics a three-phase inverter without access neutral point ac load. To achieve this, control (CM) with space vector modulation proposed. With control, CM can be regulated independently differential mode power flow main physically implement flow, harmonic extraction circuit placed in parallel formed by series-connected inductance and capacitance. Due LC series resonance mutual coupling inductance, only pass through circuit. extracted are then rectified delivered output. topology verified both simulations experiments. In end, it shown experiments that there no significant difference efficiency after load connected. This method used for instance drive machine while charging low voltage battery or powering compressor simultaneously.
